“This show should be your drug of choice”
Loco Maricon Amor pays tribute to two of art’s great outsiders who fought to express through their work a freedom that was never theirs.
“The difference between false memories and true ones is the same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant.” – Salvador Dalí
When Federico Garcia Lorca and a young Salvador Dali crossed paths their lives were inexplicably set alight. Together these art-radicals drew each other into a world rotating on a razor-point of art, passion and revolution. This is a queer-as-fuck head-trip into forbidden love and fantasy where nothing might be real but everything beats with unbridled desire and drips in technicolour.
